Lightbox JS Test

Click the thumbnail.

This "lightbox javascript" effect by Lokesh Dhakar is pretty interesting although probably not extremely useful for an ordinary blog with many text entries. In the context of human computer interaction, this provides a cool way to display a picture over a layer of web page and the fake loading animation tells the users the status that at least the browser is loading the image. However, this method definitely needs a way to show the hint that what users are supposed to do after the larger pictures having been shown in the upper layer. There is no easy way for people to find out you just need to click the picture in order to go back to previous layer. (Hitting the back button will bring you to the previous URL!). Nevertheless, fixing the UI should be easy, e.g., adding a text info in the over the top of the large picture box.
