Report: Hirohiko Araki's Jojo on the cover of "Cell"

From the cover caption:

"On the cover, the purple SCRAPPER humanoid is putting blue heart-shaped ubiquitins on the red RIM creatures. Japanese manga artist Hirohiko Araki created the cover image with scientific direction from Drs. Setou and Ageta."

And that news report brought down the server for www.cell.com. Apparently Hirohiko Araki is über popular.

I just got Dilbert DVD, it's really nice. It has been a relief watching these episodes especially when I am so frustrated finding conditions for my stupid experiment.

Here is a screen-shot of the episode: The Dupey. I think Apple Computer is probably the only "real" company name in Dilbert's world.

互相致敬的動畫

攻殼機動隊 S.A.C. 第二季影集又開播了，真期待 DVD 的發行！這個第二季還是一樣對九零年代的攻殼電影大大的致敬，甚至有對 The Matrix 借用的多角度迴旋鏡頭（我懷疑【再起動】這個字眼也是從 The Matrix 借用的）。我個人一直都把 The Matrix 當作真人電腦動畫三部曲，而大家都知道 The Matrix 三部曲借用非常多攻殼的設定。所以這又是一個動畫影集互相致敬的例子。

Finding Nemo

No one stays through the credits anymore, but stay! WATCH THE WHOLE THING! At the credits part of the movie, they actually expressed their special thanks to UC Irvine! An assistant professor Adam P. Summers here in UCI helped Pixar Studio making the animated film "Finding Nemo".
