I have been watching this

http://live.yahoo.com/wenli # a live broadcast from the college student group protesting on violation of personal traveling freedom and freedom of speech by the Taiwanese government during the visit of Chinese envoy.

There has been no violence inside the student group. Which contradicts with the report from China-owned media like TVBS-news and pro-China media like UDN-group.

Good-Bye, Hal.

good-bye Hal
Hal Fishman 1931-2007

Legendary KTLA Anchorman Hal Fishman, the longest-running anchor in television history, and a presence in Los Angeles broadcasting for nearly five decades that many in the city grew up knowing and trusting, has died at the age of 75. Hal's strong connection with Southern Californians, along with his journalistic integrity, made him one of the brightest stars in KTLA's 60-year history. His own quote on the late Catholic Pope John Paul II that the role of a News Reporter is "a Sacred Mission" tells all about Hal's own careers.

Prof. Hsieh

I am shocked. A very sad news about professor Yen-Long Hsieh from National Tsing-Hua University, Taiwan. He accidently fell from the window of his house and died. I have nothing else to say. ylhsiehsadnews
